Read in your language

The Books are written in English. Most browsers can translate any page of this site for you, on your device or through their own service. Machine translation of verse is imperfect, so a phrase may read differently from the original.

Chrome and Edge

Use the translate icon in the address bar, or right-click the page and choose “Translate to…”. On Android, open the ⋮ menu and choose “Translate…”.

Safari

On a Mac, use the translate icon in the address bar. On iPhone and iPad, tap the “Aa” button next to the address, then “Translate to…”.

Firefox

Use the translation icon in the address bar. Firefox translates on your device, so the text does not leave your computer.

Menus differ between browser versions. If you do not see these options, look for “Translate” in your browser’s menu or settings.
