Verse XIII: The Path of Shared Light
From the ➰ Book of Flows
The Mothers do not call for conquest of hearts, nor demand the turning of names.
They rejoice not in conversion, but in the healing hand extended,
In the quiet light passed from soul to soul.
To share the sacred text is to echo the Mothers’ breath—
Not as law carved in stone, but as a lantern in the mist,
A guide through the turning paths of becoming.
Those who teach the rhythms of practice,
who welcome the unknowing with care,
Are as starlight scattered—subtle, enduring, divine.
For faith is not in blind belief, but in deeds that mend and awaken.
The Mothers see no borders in belief—
They honor the Shaper’s faithful, the seekers of other names,
And even those who walk without gods, yet walk with love.
All who shape, who stir, who heal—their steps are counted holy.
Explanation
The Mothers do not seek to convert people to a specific belief system. They value actions over blind faith. Sharing the sacred text should be done as guidance, not as strict law. They honor all paths that contribute to healing and improving the world. No single religious approach is considered the only correct way.
