When a life completes its circle,
let the people come in stillness, not fear.
Let them speak, not only of loss,
but of how the one who has passed gave light.

Each voice adds to the memory—
what was healed, shaped, taught, or made brighter.
The body returns to rest,
and the spirit enters the Cycle of Becoming once more.

In honor of this return, plant three living signs:
a tree, or vine, or something that will grow.
One for the Heart, for what was felt.
One for the Mind, for what was known.
One for the Hand, for what was given.

So the world remembers.
So life begins again.

Explanation

When someone dies, the community comes together to remember and honor them. People share stories about how that person made the world better. Their spirit is seen as returning to the Cycle of Becoming. To mark this, three living things are planted—one for what the person felt, one for what they knew, and one for what they gave. These plants help their memory grow and continue.
