Verse III: The Spaces Between
From the ➰ Book of Flows
From long days of trying and tuning,
humans learned to honor the spaces between.
The Three Mothers smile on those who do not rush,
but pause at the edges, where one moment becomes the next.
When crossing from task to task, or place to place,
stop—just for a breath, or three.
Let your awareness catch up with your body.
Let the next thing begin with presence, not momentum.
These are the threshold moments, quiet and small—
yet they open a gate to the Cycle of Becoming.
You are not just passing through time.
You are shaping it, touching each step with care.
To pause is to remember:
you are not here to hurry through.
You are a rhythm, unfolding across the day.
Explanation
Over time, people learned to pause during small changes in the day. These moments happen when we move from one task or place to another. Instead of rushing, we stop and take three slow breaths. This helps us return to the present. These pauses are called threshold moments. They remind us that each step matters. We are always changing, always becoming.
