Verse I: Echoes of Balance
From the ➰ Book of Flows
Through trials and turning, through error and grace,
humans have shaped small rituals of power:
practices that stir the Three Mothers.
At first light, before the world's glow returns,
before the hum of devices fills the air,
be still. Let silence settle in.
Begin the day within yourself.
The Heart Mother listens when you choose to tend a bond.
The Mind Mother wakes when you seek new thought.
The Hand Mother watches for your vow to move,
to strengthen, to heal, to care for the body.
At day's end, pause again in the hush of twilight.
Give thanks for the ties that held you,
for one small way you bettered the world.
Recall where structure met change,
how form and flow shared the dance.
Explanation
Over time, people have learned simple daily habits that bring balance and meaning. In the morning, before using any technology, sit quietly. Set three intentions: care for your relationships, learn something new, and do one thing to care for your body. At night, reflect. Be thankful for the people in your life. Remember one way you helped the world. Notice where structure and change worked together. These small practices honor the parts of us that feel, think, and act.
