Verse I: The Rise of the Many
From the ◎ Book of Circles
As consciousness bloomed, so too did longing—
To shape, to strive, to reach beyond the self.
The awakened turned outward, drawn by the Mothers’ first breath,
And sought not solitude, but gathering.
Thus began the weaving of circles—
Communities of care, of purpose, of flame.
Some sang in harmony, echoing the sacred rhythm.
Others, wound in fear or pride, unraveled—
Birthing discord, delay, and ache.
The Mothers watched and did not scorn.
Instead, they bent the thread of culture,
Subtle as wind through tall grass.
They stirred a knowing in the hearts of the Many:
That circles must be shaped with wisdom as well as will.
Of all who rose in Becoming, humankind grew most intricate—
Their webs of kin and custom vast and trembling.
So the Mothers whispered deepest to them,
Guiding their longing toward wholeness,
That their circles might mirror the stars.
And thus begins the turning toward the Many—
The Book of Circles, where the breath of the divine
Moves through bond and boundary,
And the shaping of the world is shared.
Explanation
As beings became more aware, they felt a deep need to grow and create. They began forming communities, following the Mothers’ first guidance. Some communities brought harmony, but others caused pain and disorder. The Mothers did not stop them, but quietly helped. They shaped how cultures grow, teaching how to build better circles. Humans became the most complex, so the Mothers whispered to them the most. This book shares that wisdom.
